1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Ziss Craft website and engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our website or services.

2. Services Description

Ziss Craft provides custom joinery and cabinetry design and manufacturing services, including:

 

  • Kitchen design and installation
  • Bathroom cabinetry and joinery
  • Laundry renovations
  • Custom cabinetry and storage solutions
  • Kitchen modifications and upgrades

 

All services are tailored to individual client requirements and specifications.

3. Design Consultation & Quotes

  • Initial design consultations are provided at no charge (valued at $500)
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
  • Quotes are based on specifications discussed during consultation
  • Changes to specifications may affect pricing and timelines
  • A deposit (typically 50%) is required to commence work

4. Project Commencement & Timeline

  • Work commences upon receipt of signed agreement and deposit
  • Project timelines are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances
  • We will communicate any delays promptly
  • Client availability for site access and decisions may impact timelines
  • Delays caused by client decisions or site conditions are not our responsibility

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due as per the agreed payment schedule
  • A 50% deposit is required to commence work
  • Final payment is due upon completion
  • Late payments may incur interest charges
  • We accept bank transfer and other agreed payment methods
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise

6. Warranty

Ziss Craft provides a 7-year warranty on all workmanship and materials, covering:

 

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faulty joinery and construction
  • Material failures under normal use

 

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from misuse, accidents, or improper maintenance
  • Wear and tear from normal use
  • Damage from environmental factors (extreme humidity, temperature)
  • Modifications made by third parties
  • Damage from failure to follow care instructions

7. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing
  • If cancelled before work commences, the deposit is non-refundable (covers design and consultation costs)
  • If cancelled after work has commenced, you remain liable for all work completed and materials ordered
  • No refunds are provided for completed work unless a manufacturing defect is identified

8. Changes to Specifications

  • Change requests must be submitted in writing
  • Changes may affect project cost and timeline
  • Additional charges will be quoted before proceeding
  • We reserve the right to refuse changes that compromise design integrity or safety

9. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate property and space measurements
  • Ensure site access and safety compliance
  • Make timely decisions regarding design and specifications
  • Provide clear communication regarding preferences and concerns
  • Arrange for existing cabinetry removal (unless otherwise agreed)
  • Ensure the property is suitable for installation

10. Liability & Limitation

  • Ziss Craft is not responsible for damage to existing structures, flooring, or property during installation
  • We recommend clients obtain appropriate insurance coverage
  • Our liability is limited to the value of services provided
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties, suppliers, or unforeseen circumstances
  • Client assumes responsibility for site conditions and structural integrity

11. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, drawings, and specifications created by Ziss Craft remain our intellectual property. Clients may not reproduce or share designs without written permission.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation
  • If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or legal proceedings under Western Australian law
  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia

13. Health & Safety

  • All work complies with relevant Australian health and safety standards
  • Clients must ensure the work site is safe and accessible
  • We reserve the right to stop work if safety concerns are identified
  • Clients are responsible for informing us of any hazardous materials or conditions

14. Limitation of Services

Ziss Craft reserves the right to:

  • Decline projects that do not align with our standards or capabilities
  • Modify timelines or schedules due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Subcontract portions of work to qualified third parties
  • Stop work if payment is not received as agreed

15. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
